Overview

Thymosin Alpha-1 is a peptide your thymus gland naturally produces to train and activate your immune cells. The thymus is the organ responsible for producing T-cells — the soldiers of your immune system. As we age, the thymus shrinks and produces fewer of these cells, which is one reason older people get sick more easily. Thymosin Alpha-1 is approved in over 35 countries as a medical treatment for hepatitis and immune deficiency, making it one of the most clinically validated peptides on this site.

Key Benefits

Modulates and strengthens immune function
Antiviral and antibacterial properties
Enhances T-cell production and activity
Reduces chronic inflammation
Approved for hepatitis B and C treatment in some countries
May improve outcomes in sepsis

Mechanism of Action

Thymosin Alpha-1 works by helping immature immune cells in the thymus grow into fully functional T-cells. It also signals the immune system to produce more of its own communication chemicals (cytokines), which coordinate the immune response. Additionally, it activates natural killer cells — specialized immune cells that identify and destroy viruses and abnormal cells. The overall effect is a more capable, better-coordinated immune system.
